Serving is one of our core values here at Solid Rock Church. We believe that the mark of genuine Christianity is evidenced through a believer’s authentic service. Jesus said in Mark 10:45, “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many." One of the ways we live out this discipleship moniker is through our volunteer opportunities.
Greeters Ministry — Greeters are the first ones to make contact with individuals entering the church on Sunday mornings. They pass out brochures, and help people find seats. Greeters also serve as an extra layer of security for the church.
Worship Team — The worship team, collectively with the worship leaders, is responsible for facilitating the worship experience for the church on Sunday mornings.
Children’s Ministry — These children’s ministry team faithfully serves infants, and toddlers on Sunday morning. Volunteers serve as security, and lead the children through a Sunday morning lesson.
Production Team — The media team is broken out into four groups overseeing: sound, video/design, web, and social media. This team develops video products, and products for the web, and social media.
Chairs Ministry — Volunteers in the chairs ministry ensure that the church is appropriately set-up for Sunday morning worship services. They also help organize the chairs in the main sanctuary.
Administrative Team — The administrative team is responsible for ensuring all of the administrative needs of the church are taken care of. This team helps with church finances, church bulletins, and other admin tasks.
