Race, Grace and the Church – An Acts 29 – DC Area Event

THIS Monday, October 29, 7-10 pm at Redemption Hill Church, 400 D Street SE, Washington DC 20003.

“DC is a global city made up of many ethnicities.  Nations from around the world are represented throughout the metro area. This affords churches a gospel opportunity to integrate the local church with different ethnicities, cultures, ages and races in order to show the gospel made visible like no other time in history. Given this opportunity, we will carefully consider the vision the Bible gives the church and what it takes to move forward.  A particular focus will be given to what the church can do given the history of our country and our present cultural moment.”

Plenary Speakers:

Thabiti Anyabwile – a pastor at Anacostia River Church in DC, and Russell Moore - President of the Ethics & Religion Liberty Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention.

Both men are authors and Council Members of The Gospel Coalition.

Additional Speakers:

Shaun Cross, Union Church

Moses Lee, Redeemer Arlington

Curt Allen, Solid Rock Church

Eric Simmons, Redeemer Arlington
