Summer of mission involves a multitude of outreach events and activities during the summer including: Back-to-school blasts, local missions trips, and other outreach opportunities.
Our D-Groups or small groups provide a context for us to engage in life-on-life discipleship. The groups are organized in terms of location and topic. This is an evening designed to allow us to get to know and relate with other members of Solid Rock in a more personal way.
These gender-specific meetings provide a context for in-depth conversations about mutual areas of concern, and struggle. These meetings are also opportunities for candid discussions about any issue.
BYOL is Bring Your Own Lunch. This context allows us to interact together, get to know one another, and laugh together over a meal on Sunday afternoon.

Sunday morning worship services are our church’s main fellowship meeting for the week.
Each week, a faithful few extend the love of Christ to the “Magnolia Gardens” nursing home through song, prayers, food, and sharing the love of Christ.
American Friends partners foreign nationals with individuals at Solid Rock Church.
Our homeless outreach ministers to the “least of these” in the local Riverdale community, and in the heart of Washington, D.C monthly.
Solid Rock Church sponsors Alcoholics Anonymous meetings at the church. These meetings provide a context for individuals seeking help, and guidance.
Our mentoring program connects high school students with young adults and adults at Solid Rock Church.
Our OneU campus ministry operates on the campus of the University of Maryland, College Park campus. The aim of OneU is to make much of Jesus Christ in everything that we say and do, attempting to spread his fame across UMD’s campus.
